Guvernul a aprobat un nou punct de frontieră cu Ucraina

The Romanian government has approved the opening of the Sighetu Marmației II border crossing with Ukraine, which will facilitate road and pedestrian traffic. The opening will occur in phases, starting with vehicles under 3.5 tons, followed by heavier vehicles and pedestrian access. The final opening is set for December 31, 2027, allowing limited traffic for emergency services and diplomats. The Ministry of Transport will oversee the border point's administration.
