Gunoiul spațial, o problemă: Ce face un satelit românesc când „moare”?

CyberCUBE, a small satellite, will analyze orbital security threats for a year before being deorbited to mitigate space debris issues. Cristian Chitu from GMV Romania stated that the satellite's design includes a five-year deorbit requirement. Currently in the pre-operational phase, CyberCUBE was launched via SpaceX and will undergo a year of operational experiments with the European Space Agency. This mission marks ESA's first entirely private-led initiative from Romania, focusing on cybersecurity threats to European spacecraft.
