Grupul Turceni 5 a fost reparat și e conectat din nou la Sistemul Energetic Național, după avaria la cazan
Group 5 of the Turceni power plant will be reconnected to the National Energy System after technical issues were resolved. The reconnection is scheduled for Monday at 3 PM. CE Oltenia confirmed it has sufficient coal stocks for production. The temporary shutdown was due to low electricity demand and prices over the weekend. The company aims to align operations with market conditions and ensure energy availability during peak demand. Group 5, generating approximately 220 MW, may continue operating beyond the planned closure date of August 31, 2026, due to the energy crisis. The Energy Ministry emphasizes the need for coordination to avoid financial losses from the PNRR.
