R.Power is advancing its second large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Romania, located in Olt County, with a capacity of 100 MW / 200 MWh. This project, named Studina, will enhance energy storage capacity and contribute to energy stability in the region. Construction is set to begin in Q4 2023, with a connection to the national grid expected by Q3 2027. R.Power's portfolio includes significant energy storage projects across Central and Eastern Europe, with a total capacity of 0.9 GW / 3 GWh operational or under construction. The company aims to support the energy transition in Romania, which is a leader in large-scale energy storage solutions in Europe.
