Grupul german ZEISS cumpără o firmă românească de optică, cu afaceri de aproape 10 milioane EUR - StartupCafe

German group ZEISS has received approval from the Romanian competition authority to acquire Edy Optic LTT, a distributor of optical products. The transaction will be executed through Carl Zeiss Instruments SRL, the local subsidiary. Edy Optic reported a revenue of 47.75 million lei in 2025 and is the exclusive distributor of ZEISS Vision Care products in Romania. The acquisition aims to enhance ZEISS's control over its local distribution network. The competition authority found no significant obstacles to competition from this acquisition.
