The national minorities group in Parliament announced its support for designated Prime Minister Luca Niculescu, emphasizing his potential for effective governance. Varujan Pambuccian, the group's leader, stated that they will openly back Niculescu during the investiture vote, marking a departure from previous practices. He highlighted the need for immediate improvements in the living conditions of Romanians and warned of severe impacts on various sectors without a budget rectification. Niculescu described his discussions with the minorities group as very positive and noted that his government program is nearly finalized.
