Grupul 4 Rovinari intră luni în funcțiune

The Rovinari Group 4 will start operating on Monday, adding nearly 300 megawatts to Romania's National Energy System to meet rising electricity demand. Secretary of State Cristian Bușoi noted that peak consumption is expected to reach around 7,000 megawatts due to high temperatures and increased use of air conditioning. The energy situation over the weekend was stable, with consumption below 6,000 megawatts. Bușoi emphasized the importance of reducing electricity imports and ensuring sufficient coal stocks for the week. He also mentioned that the reopening of Cernavodă reactors is unlikely in the next ten days due to low water levels.
