Grindeanu respinge varianta unui guvern tehnocrat sau minoritar PSD și face apel către PNL și UDMR pentru formarea Cabinetului
Sorin Grindeanu, leader of the Social Democratic Party, rejected the idea of a technocratic government, advocating instead for collaboration with PNL and UDMR. He criticized the technocratic option as detrimental to Romania's current situation. Grindeanu emphasized the need for a stable government, appealing to PNL and UDMR, especially since AUR and USR favor early elections. Negotiations for government formation began with designated Prime Minister Luca Niculescu, who engaged with various political parties. Grindeanu stated that while they seek a mandate for government formation, early elections remain a possibility if the proposed government fails to secure parliamentary support.
