Ionuț Pucheanu from PSD stated they await Mureșan's negotiation approach for government formation. AUR's Petrișor Peiu suggested Grindeanu might be the next nominee if Mureșan fails to secure votes. Victor Ponta supported the nomination, while Alexandru Muraru from PNL praised it as a rational decision after a prolonged crisis.
