The initiative, which includes penalties for non-compliance, was recently introduced in the Chamber of Deputies after being adopted by the Senate in 2023. Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan also commented, stating that true patriotism is about supporting one's family rather than making displays of nationalism.
