Grevă generală în sănătate, marți. Sanitas anunță proteste în sute de spitale împotriva noii Legi a salarizării
The Sanitas Federation plans to initiate a general strike in the healthcare system starting July 28, affecting around 400 public hospitals in Romania. The strike is a response to the new salary law, which the union claims perpetuates inequalities. Although the strike will not halt all hospital activities, a minimum of one-third of staff must remain to ensure emergency medical services. Sanitas has temporarily suspended the law in court, arguing that unions were not consulted during its development. Despite modifications, the current form of the law does not address salary disparities adequately, according to union representatives.
