Grevă de avertisment la Oil Terminal. Angajații ameninţă cu greva generală dacă salariile nu sunt indexate • Newsweek România
Employees at Oil Terminal staged a warning strike, threatening a general strike next week if their salaries are not increased by 6.5%. Union leader Nicu Androne expressed frustration over the lack of government response despite ongoing discussions since February. He emphasized that the government holds responsibility for any escalation to a general strike, citing significant loss of purchasing power over the past two years. A new meeting with management is scheduled, and if no positive outcome is reached by September 17, a general strike will commence. The general director of Oil Terminal, Sorin Ciutureanu, disagreed with the strike, highlighting the importance of the terminal in Romania's supply chain and stating that he will seek to delay the strike while exploring the feasibility of the proposed memorandum.
