Greenpeace blochează un proiect de gaze în Australia/ ”Salvați reciful Scott!” / Activiștii au ocupat o platformă offshore

Greenpeace activists have blocked a natural gas platform off the coast of Australia, protesting against the Scarborough project. The protest began on Saturday and continued into Sunday, halting operations. The project, valued at $12.5 billion, was nearly complete. Greenpeace aims to occupy the platform for as long as possible, raising concerns about environmental impacts on the nearby Scott Reef, home to endangered species. The Australian police intervened, but no charges were filed against the activists. Woodside Energy claims their operations will not physically affect the reef.
