Grecia transmite Turciei un mesaj de „pace” şi „dialog”, dar avertizează: „Nu acceptăm ameninţări”
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis conveyed a message of peace and dialogue to Turkey while asserting Greece's commitment to defend its sovereign rights. During a visit to Kastellorizo, he emphasized the importance of dialogue based on self-confidence and respect for international law. Mitsotakis highlighted that Greece's borders align with those of Europe and expressed the island's symbolic significance for a peaceful future. He warned that while Greece does not threaten anyone, it will not accept threats and is prepared to defend its national integrity. Additionally, he announced financial support measures for the island's small population. This message follows Turkey's announcement of a marine national park, which Greece deemed illegal, further straining relations between the two nations.
