Grecia se pregătește și ea să interzică rețelele de socializare celor sub 15 ani
Greece is set to introduce a law prohibiting social media access for those under 15, aiming to enhance online safety for minors. The proposed legislation, submitted by Minister Akis Skertsos, will be reviewed by a parliamentary committee. It seeks to mitigate risks associated with early exposure to social media, which can lead to problematic behaviors. The National Council for Radio and Television and the Hellenic Data Protection Authority will oversee compliance. Existing digital age verification tools will be utilized for enforcement, targeting minors and their guardians, as well as social media providers. This move follows similar restrictions in Turkey and other countries.
