The initiative, part of a government program, aims to address inflation concerns among citizens. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced expected price cuts of 5% to 7% in the coming months, particularly as the new school year begins. Over 90 wholesalers and several supermarket chains have joined the program, with discounted items marked for consumer awareness.
