Grecia a comemorat 83 de ani de la masacrul comis de naziști la Lingiades. Președintele țării cere din nou despăgubiri Germaniei
Greek President Constantine Tassoulas reiterated calls for war reparations from Germany during a commemoration of the 83rd anniversary of the Lingiades massacre. He emphasized that Greece's claims remain legitimate and actionable. The massacre, which occurred on October 3, 1943, resulted in the deaths of 86 villagers, including many children. Tassoulas highlighted the importance of remembering these atrocities and maintaining the demand for reparations, which Greece has sought for years, estimating the owed amount between 278 and 341 billion euros. Germany, however, maintains that the issue has been legally resolved.
