Children from vulnerable families enrolled in extended program kindergartens in Sector 6 will receive daily meals funded by the local budget. The local council approved the project with a budget of over 1.7 million lei for the 2026-2027 school year. Each eligible child will receive meals worth 32 lei per day, with parents covering any additional costs. Parents must submit requests for free meals, which are available only during school days. The initiative targets children identified as socially vulnerable through social investigations or those from families with low income.
