Romanian SMEs in sectors like IT and telecommunications can receive grants up to €45,000 for cybersecurity services. The funding aims to help companies comply with the Cyber Resilience Act. A total budget of €2 million is available, potentially benefiting 266 firms. Eligible services include vulnerability assessments and employee training. Companies must form consortia to apply, with a minimum of three SMEs involved. The scheme is open until the budget is exhausted or by March 31, 2028, with payments made in two installments. Firms must meet specific eligibility criteria, including being registered in Romania and not being in insolvency.
