Local producers in Romania can apply for grants of 10,000 lei to develop their businesses through a new competition by Edenred Romania, HORA, and FIHR. Applications are open until November 16, 2026, as part of the national project "Țara lui Mai Bine," aimed at enhancing collaboration between local producers and the HoReCa industry. Three selected producers will receive funding and consulting sessions to strengthen their business relationships with restaurants. The initiative responds to the growing demand for local products, with a significant percentage of restaurants expressing interest in sourcing from local suppliers. Additionally, a guide for best practices in collaboration has been released to facilitate these partnerships.
