Residents can maintain the garden in front of their building, but it does not grant them ownership or the right to alter it. The garden is part of the condominium's common property or may belong to a local authority. According to Law no. 196/2018, the land around the building is considered common property, including gardens and access paths. Therefore, living on the ground floor does not give exclusive rights to the garden, even if the resident tends to it more frequently.
