Government Secretary General announces halving of protocol expenses

Dan Reşitnec announced a 50% cut in protocol expenses for the Government, reducing costs from 548,139 lei last year to 291,890 lei this year. The cuts were made by limiting prolonged review meetings and reducing hospitality expenses for officials. Reşitnec emphasized that these changes reflect a more normal operational approach. He noted that while contracts for protocol services increased slightly, actual spending has significantly decreased due to cuts in unjustified expenses.
