Google scapă de obligația de a-și vinde platforma de publicitate, într-un caz antitrust din SUA

A federal judge dismissed the U.S. antitrust authorities' request for Google to sell its advertising platform AdX, allowing the company to retain its operations. Judge Leonie Brinkema rejected the Department of Justice's (DOJ) demand while accepting most of the proposed behavioral measures. The DOJ and a coalition of states had sued Google, alleging anti-competitive practices. In a previous ruling, the same judge found that Google held illegal monopolies in advertising server markets. Google argued that selling AdX would be technically challenging and costly. AdX accounts for a small portion of Google's overall revenue. This ruling marks the third consecutive rejection of antitrust attempts against major tech companies.
