Google investește 13 miliarde de euro în AI din Finlanda
Google plans to invest at least 13 billion euros in Finland over the next two years for digital infrastructure projects, including data centers for AI. This investment is the largest by Google in Europe and highlights Finland's leadership in responsible AI infrastructure development. The funds will support data centers and clean energy projects in various municipalities, aiming to enhance local biodiversity and education. The investment is expected to boost Finland's GDP by 3.6 billion euros annually and create over 37,000 jobs, with a significant portion in construction. Google's presence in Finland has grown since acquiring a paper mill in 2009, now operating as a cloud region.
