Google a închis sute de canale YouTube din Coreea de Sud

In the second quarter of the year, Google shut down 449 YouTube channels in South Korea due to political content. The majority of these closures occurred in May, just before local elections. The channels included material supporting or criticizing the South Korean government and political parties. Google did not specify the political leanings of the channels. In contrast, during the same period, Google closed thousands of channels linked to China and Russia, highlighting efforts to curb problematic political content online.
