Gimnasta Adelina Ionescu, aproape de podium la World Challenge Cup de la Paris

Romanian gymnast Adelina Ionescu finished just off the podium in the vault final at the World Challenge Cup in Paris, placing fourth. Sabrina Maneca-Voinea also competed, finishing seventh. Ionescu scored an average of 13.250 points, while Maneca-Voinea had an average of 12.883 points. The event was won by Belgium's Lisa Vaelen, followed by American Isabel Stassi and Norwegian Christine Victoria Kubon. Another Romanian, Mara Ceplinschi, is set to compete in the floor final later.
