Rheinmetall is preparing for future warfare with a focus on humanoid robots, drones, and space systems, according to CEO Armin Papperger. The company is investing heavily in these technologies and has increased its ammunition production significantly. Rheinmetall has signed contracts worth €5.7 billion with the Romanian army, marking a historic deal for the company. The contracts include advanced combat vehicles, air defense systems, and naval support vessels. Rheinmetall plans to expand its workforce from 34,000 to 70,000 by 2030, contributing to job creation in Romania and enhancing its supply chain.
