Gigantul norvegian al energiei regenerabile Scatec accelerează planurile în România

Norwegian company Scatec ASA plans to triple its global renewable energy capacity by 2028, focusing on Europe due to high demand for storage batteries. CEO Terje Pilskog announced the goal of reaching 11 GW of capacity, up from 3 GW currently. The company is expanding rapidly in Romania, where it recently acquired a wind farm and is developing solar and storage projects. Scatec is also set to secure financing for large projects in Egypt. The growth in renewable energy projects in Romania is driving investments in large-scale battery storage, enhancing grid stability.
