Giganţii americani din AI pun bazele unui organism de supraveghere a riscurilor
Three major AI companies, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google DeepMind, are collaborating to establish a regulatory body to oversee AI-related risks. This initiative follows calls for better control over AI technologies. The proposal originated from Demis Hassabis, CEO of Google DeepMind, suggesting a structure similar to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). The aim is to ensure that advanced AI models undergo security assessments before commercialization. This new organization may also lead to a coordinated slowdown in AI development if risk evaluations cannot keep pace with advancements.
