Getica 95, controlată de omul de afaceri Viorel Tudose, și-a cerut insolvența
Getica, a company controlled by Viorel Tudose, has filed for insolvency due to significant losses from purchasing expensive energy after Nuclearelectrica's nuclear plant was shut down. The company, which relied heavily on nuclear energy, is now forced to buy energy from the market at higher prices, leading to losses exceeding 200 million lei. The insolvency case was registered on October 1, with the first hearing set for October 21. Tudose expressed concerns about cash flow and the inability to terminate contracts with clients, while also mentioning a previous successful exit from insolvency in 2023. Getica's financial struggles are compounded by the high market prices for energy, especially during peak hours, making it difficult to maintain profitability.
