Germania introduce taxa pe zahăr. Majoritatea populației este de acord

A majority of Germans support the planned introduction of a special tax on sugary drinks and sweets to promote healthier consumption. A recent Forsa survey shows that 55% of respondents favor this tax, while 44% oppose it. Support is particularly strong among Green Party voters, with 87% in favor. The governing coalition has agreed to implement the tax starting in 2027, with the amount based on sugar content. Negotiations are ongoing, and the government initially estimated revenues of around 650 million euros, though industry associations predict nearly 4 billion euros annually.
