Germania identifică doi suspecți în tentativa de atac cu drone de pe aeroportul Leipzig/Halle

German investigators have identified two suspects linked to a drone attack attempt on a Ukrainian transport aircraft at Leipzig/Halle airport in early August. The German government attributes the operation to hybrid actions associated with Russia, which denies involvement. One suspect is a Russian-born man with Latvian citizenship, while the other is a Belarusian citizen with a Russian passport. The German Interior Minister stated that the attack was executed with high technical expertise and suggested state involvement from Russia. Evidence, including DNA traces found on the drone, led to the identification of the suspects, with investigations ongoing into the use of multiple drones in the operation. Russia has dismissed the allegations as provocations.
