Germania discută cu Italia şi Japonia. Vrea să intre în proiectul avionului de luptă de nouă generaţie
Germany is in talks with Italy and Japan regarding its potential involvement in the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), aimed at developing a next-generation fighter jet. Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced discussions will occur soon to explore Germany's integration into the project, which has been in development for nearly a decade by the UK, Italy, and Japan. The GCAP aims to replace existing aircraft like the Eurofighter Typhoon and Mitsubishi F-2. Germany's previous collaboration on a similar project, SCAF, was abandoned due to corporate rivalries. The integration process will consider timelines and responsibilities, with Saab also mentioned as a potential partner for Germany.
