Germania avertizează asupra unui „război din umbră” care depășește amenințările din Războiul Rece: „Scopul este să ne destabilizeze”
Germany is facing a "shadow war" with objectives that exceed Cold War threats, according to Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt. He emphasized the need to strengthen intelligence services amid rising sabotage and cyberattack threats attributed to Russia. Dobrindt stated that the current hybrid warfare aims to destabilize Germany fundamentally. Western officials have warned of Russian sabotage and cyber operations in Europe to undermine support for Ukraine. The German intelligence chief noted that Russia employs various means, including disinformation and sabotage. A proposed reform to expand intelligence powers is currently under parliamentary review, reflecting the urgency of the situation.
