Germania alocă 50 de milioane de euro pentru repararea structurii de protecție de la Cernobîl
Germany will allocate 50 million euros for the restoration of the Chernobyl protective structure damaged by a Russian drone attack. This decision was announced following a meeting between Ukrainian officials and a German delegation. The funds will be transferred to the Chernobyl International Cooperation Account, aimed at security and restoration projects. The German delegation, led by Environment Minister Carsten Schneider, also visited the solar power plant at the Chernobyl site and paid tribute to those involved in the 1986 cleanup operations. Preliminary estimates suggest restoration costs could reach around 500 million euros.
