Germany has officially started producing 5,000 drones for Ukraine, capable of striking up to 1,500 km into Russia. This initiative, involving a joint venture between German-American defense company Auterion and Ukrainian drone manufacturer Airlogix, is part of a €300 million deal expected to be completed by mid-2027. The drones will utilize artificial intelligence to counter Russian electronic warfare efforts. Ukraine aims to increase drone attacks on Russian infrastructure, with President Zelensky setting a goal of launching 1,000 long-range drones daily. Germany is enhancing its defense support for Ukraine, sharing intelligence and expanding military presence in Eastern NATO.
