George Simion, leader of AUR, announced opposition to salary increases for parliamentarians, criticizing the ruling parties for their actions. The new salary law will gradually raise salaries for various officials, including the President and Prime Minister, with significant increases expected by 2031. The President's salary will rise from approximately 25,000 lei to over 32,000 lei, while the Prime Minister's salary will exceed 30,000 lei. Parliamentary salaries will also increase, reaching around 24,600 lei by 2031.
