The Romanian Association of Municipalities highlights the cultural project "Rapsodiem – From Genesis to Centenary" on the 145th anniversary of George Enescu's birth. This initiative, co-financed by the Ministry of Culture, aimed to celebrate Romanian culture and art, focusing on Enescu's musical legacy. The project featured concerts by the Metropolitan Orchestra of Bucharest and resulted in a short film showcasing Enescu's music against iconic Romanian landscapes. Filming took place in various scenic locations, integrating music with nature and national identity. The project also included concerts in three municipalities, promoting local engagement with symphonic music. AMR emphasizes the importance of cultural heritage transmission to future generations, inviting the public to rediscover Enescu's music and Romania's cultural diversity.
