Nearly 30% of Romanian teenagers have asked their parents to remove online content about them, the highest rate in a European study. The EU Kids Online 2020 report highlights the impact of parents' social media posts on adolescents. The survey included over 25,000 children from 19 countries, focusing on experiences related to 'sharenting'. In Romania, 18% of teens made such requests multiple times last year, with 11% asking at least monthly. Other countries like Malta and Serbia follow, but Lithuania has the lowest rate at 3%.
