However, industrial consumers face challenges due to external price fluctuations linked to European markets. Bureaucratic delays hinder timely gas delivery, with lengthy approval processes for drilling and infrastructure projects. Romgaz invests over 200 million euros annually to maintain production levels, addressing the decline in mature fields. The Eurogas Annual Regional Conference highlighted Romania's role in energy security and sustainability in Eastern Europe.
