Inspections revealed issues at the Vidra waste depot and the Glina wastewater treatment plant, leading to penalties for non-compliance. The agency is advocating for a joint order with health authorities to address the health impacts of odor-related complaints. Over 1,300 odor complaints were mapped, with significant concentrations in Sector 4. The findings highlighted deficiencies in waste management and odor control systems, necessitating ongoing monitoring and corrective measures.
