The organizers of a drift competition in Bucharest's Constitution Square were fined 15,000 lei by the National Environmental Guard due to noise and air pollution complaints. The event, held on October 3-4, produced significant exhaust gases, smoke, and tire particles, prompting inspections after public reports. Although the event had local approval, the organizers failed to implement adequate measures to limit pollutant emissions. Following the event, the area was cleaned and traffic resumed by October 5.
