Raiffeisen Bank has acquired Garanti Bank Romania for approximately 590 million euros, with the transaction approved by the Competition Council. The acquisition includes Motoractive IFN and Motoractive Multiservices, enhancing Raiffeisen's market position. Clients will not see immediate changes to their contracts or services, as both banks will operate independently until the transaction is finalized. A gradual integration process is planned for 2027, which will include operational merging of the subsidiaries.
