GapMinder and Fil Rouge Capital are leading a seed funding round for Croatian startup Lasken AI, which creates an AI-based platform for health data analysis. The investment amount remains undisclosed. Lasken AI organizes publicly available medical information into structured databases for pharmaceutical companies and health organizations. The funding will support platform development, operational expansion, and market entry in Germany, with plans to reach major European pharmaceutical markets. The platform currently connects around 400,000 health organizations in Germany, aiming to expand to 2.5 million by 2026. This marks GapMinder's second investment in a Croatian health tech startup.
