In 2021, Arnold Schwarzenegger donated $250,000 to provide temporary shelters for homeless veterans in Los Angeles. The donation funded 25 shelters installed at the Veteran Affairs campus, offering veterans a place to stay while they regain stability. Schwarzenegger's contribution was made to Village for Vets, an NGO working with the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System. After the shelters were set up by volunteers, Schwarzenegger visited the site, meeting with veterans and celebrating the initiative. His donation inspired additional contributions from other donors, totaling $100,000, further supporting veterans in need.
