The road leading to the lake has deteriorated over time, impacting tourism. Recent investments of over 26 million lei aim to improve the access road, which is crucial for connecting Hunedoara with scenic areas. The lake, once a vibrant destination, now has limited public access due to private land ownership, but modernization efforts may restore its appeal.
