In Suceava, two mannequins resembling children have been placed at a crosswalk near a school to enhance pedestrian safety. The local government aims to install similar mannequins at all school and kindergarten crossings. The initiative is intended to prompt drivers to slow down instinctively when approaching these areas. The vice mayor stated that this is just the beginning, with plans to extend the project to 15 additional crosswalks in high-risk zones. The goal is to reduce the number of minor casualties from traffic accidents.
