Amendments were adopted in the European Parliament's FEMM Committee, aimed at improving access to infertility prevention and assisted reproductive services. Firea emphasized that infertility is a public health issue that affects couples emotionally and financially. She called for equal access to these services across EU member states, highlighting the need for support for couples wishing to become parents. The report will be voted on in the European Parliament plenary session soon.
