G4Media: Probleme cu sistemele antidronă ale României. Cele modernizate de Rheinmetall au picat testele de recepție

Romania's first two air defense systems, modernized by Rheinmetall, failed acceptance tests due to technical issues. The systems, intended to counter drones and other aerial threats, were delayed beyond the April 2026 deadline. Rheinmetall has committed to replacing non-compliant subsystems, with a new delivery date set for September 2026. The modernization program, valued at 328 million euros, aims to enhance the capabilities of the Romanian military against various aerial threats. The systems will include advanced features such as C-RAM capabilities and automated ammunition loading. Romania also plans to develop a comprehensive counter-drone architecture and acquire additional air defense systems.
