Furt la 10 mii de metri: Angajați de la catering, suspectați de furturi de 800.000 de euro din avioane / Percheziții în București, Ilfov și Prahova

Police have launched operations to dismantle a theft network operating within aircraft at Otopeni Airport, involving catering employees. The suspects are accused of stealing luxury goods worth nearly one million euros. Twelve search warrants were executed in Bucharest and surrounding counties, with 16 individuals summoned for questioning. Investigators found that from 2024 to 2026, the group exploited their access to aircraft to steal valuables systematically. The operation involved multiple police units and continues to seek recovery of stolen items and further investigation of all involved.
